Support GOTR-STL at Our Ballpark Village Location This July!

Get ready to make a difference in your community while enjoying delicious, handmade Italian food! Our upcoming Giveback Tuesday event will take place on July 11 at our new Ballpark Village location, and you won’t want to miss it! We are partnering with Girls on the Run St. Louis (GOTR-STL), a nonprofit organization that inspires girls to lead joyful, healthy, and confident lives through an experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.

Twice a month, we’re proud to feature a local nonprofit charity and donate 100% of the earned proceeds from the entire day to the organization. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included. So far, Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria has donated $363,177.00 to nonprofit organizations here in St. Louis.

Funds raised from Giveback Tuesday will be used to fund GOTR-STL’s scholarships for girls who want to participate in the program this school year. The nonprofit is committed to ensuring access for all participants regardless of their financial situation, and as such, families can request financial assistance. In the 2022 - 2023 school year, GOTR-STL provided $458,000 in scholarships.

In the Girls on the Run curriculum, trained volunteer coaches hold lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development. The curriculum is structured around the topics of understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork, and recognizing how we can shape the world at large. In doing so, coaches teach valuable life skills such as managing emotions, resolving conflict, helping others, and making intentional decisions.

Each season comes to an end with a 5K, providing a tangible sense of accomplishment. Everyone in the program receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this achievement.

Girls on the Run St. Louis, founded by Jill Indovino in 2002, served 12 girls its first season. Now they serve nearly 5,000 girls annually and have served over 70,000 girls since the beginning. Today, GOTR-STL is one of the largest councils in North America. The program operates in over 450 schools across 23 counties in eastern Missouri and western Illinois.

Let’s come together and support our community! 100% of earned profits will benefit GOTR-STL and its meaningful cause. Please call us at (314) 942-6555 with any questions and visit www.katiespizzaandpasta.com to make a dinner reservation or order curbside pickup. We look forward to seeing you at our Ballpark Village location on July 11!
